Who are we?

We are a group of ordinary people seeking to follow an extraordinary God. We meet and worship together in Gungahlin, a new and developing area of Canberra

Our vision is to grow joyful followers of Jesus, and to equip them for service through God’s Word empowered by his Holy Spirit

We believe that God loves us, and through the death and resurrection of his son Jesus Christ we have new life.

Our model of worship

We worship in the Anglican tradition, but do so informally and with relevance to today. Both those who may have been to church before and for those that have not are welcome. We are committed to reaching a hurting world with the Good News that Jesus Christ brings healing and hope in our brokenness and sin. We look to the Bible as the source of God’s message and instruction to us. Meeting in small groups, we seek to grow as Christians, both as individuals and as a Church. As God loves and cares for us, we strive to love and care for others. We are a people who use the skills, the time, and the resources given to us by God to minister to others.

The wider Church

Gungahlin Anglican Church operates as part of the wider Anglican Church of Australia, and more locally the Canberra & Goulburn Diocese.
